Greetings!
Clash Hi-Fi has come back to full power in October, with the return of our weekly live broadcast, an incredible Pama International gig in Brighton and over 100 hours of playlisted musical entertainement available on Soundclash.org. But things are definitely heating up in the next few weeks, with Clash Hi-Fi playing alongside Horace Andy as well as resuming their residency down in Brighton Sunday 19th November

Up to the Time!
[Listen Up] [Playlist]
This one kicks off in a dubby roots vibe from recent LP re-issues on Makasound, Wackies and D-ROY labels. Some new hits in the first hour like Ini Kamoze - my girl. Bad Tempo riddim feature. Second hour features some oldies but sweeties and some upfront bashment from Big Yard and Necessary Mayhem.
Express Yourself
[Listen Up] [Playlist]
Free-wheeling show with a Jazz and Soul feature with several Nina Simone Killers. Plus Dancehall revive selections and a Stageshow Riddim feature. We do it different.
Long time... (time for a nice time)
[Listen Up] [Playlist] Long time we no had no nice time... First show after the holiday break, with lots of fresh releases from the summer. Chilled first hour with a healthy dose of diversity, covering Benin and Norway, roots and mashups. Herbalist mix in the second hour, lots of new reggae then, including a mix of releases outta French labels.
Bitty McLean - Cosmic Summer Vibes
[Listen Up] [Playlist] Top UK soulful reggae producer, musician and singer BITTY MC LEAN in the place for cosmic revival vibes, a live session, a STUDIO ONE tribute, a DEB special mix and 20min best-of news jugglin'! Mad summer vibes with Bitty - you've got to hear this.

Top Rankin' Tunes
Here we recommend 7" records we really like at the moment. The images also link you to our favourite on-line stores and labels.
- Collie Budz - Come Around - Massive B. The biggest ganja hit of this autumn... Real fat Hiphoppy reggae. Also watch out for the Come Around remixes from the Knut Possee coming your way soon.
- UB40 feat. Sizzla - Red Wine To Gaze - Jiggy Rmx - Champion remix dis one... Selecta get historic forwards, on UB40!! Fat beats and Sizzla Kalonji come-in for nuclear destruction inna di dance.
- Marvin Gaye & Kim Weston - It Takes Two (Jr. Blender RMX) - Motown. The latest Jr. Blender is an absolute killer - definitely one of the very best remixers out there does it again!!!
- Ini Kamoze - My Girl - 9soundclix - Boom tune from unique and hitbound voice
- Suzan Couch - Smile - Lion Vibes - After some big roots tunes, UK-label Lion Vibes hit hard with sweet harmonies and a wicked radio-friendly reggae stormer dis one
- Pinchers - The Enemies (Stage Show Riddim) - Mad House. Loads of wicked cuts from this ulta catchy riddim we played during "Express Yourself", when Flex dropped in his version feat. Cham, 50 cent, Snoop and more...
- Chuck Fender - More Marijuana (Police in Helicopter) - Voiceful. Another bad new series on the relick to the John Holt classic.
- Marvin Gaye - I heard it through the grapevine (rmx) - Prime time - Boom remix on Trick Me.
- Sizzla - Step Aside (I'm blessed) (Wash Belly riddim) - Gibbo - Boom tune.
- Richie, Bounty and King Shango - Fed Up a Run red - Knut Possee... Swede soundclash champions came forward last spring with their first 45... Sweet and deadly, and more heat to come from these guys soon.
And for those who listen to more than the first 30 seconds of a tune... Our selection of 12" and LPs....
- Freddy Mc Kay - Lonely Man - Niagara - Roots Stormer.
- Ken Boothe - Show me that love - Education 10"- Wicked soulful Roots
- D-Roy Band - Backstreet Dub - D-ROY 12" - Finest early 80s Steppa.
- Junior Delgado - Brothers LP - DEB Music (Badda Music) - His first LP, recorded at the age of 19 and orchestrated by Dennis Brown. A gem.
- Various Artists - Studio One Scorcher vol. 2 - Studio One (Soul Jazz) - Yet another top-rankin selection of instrumentals with monsters like "Dick Tracy"... thanks!
- MAWAMBA DUB (Warrior) - D-ROY (Badda Music) - Rare piece just re-issued, top-quality chilled dub.
